Home / About Us
An education consultancy built on honesty, not promises.
We help students find programs that genuinely fit — and we tell them when one doesn’t.
Our story
Empowering minds, shaping futures
AM EDU Resources (Company No. RA0138236-U) is a structured education and workforce development consultancy, and a subsidiary of Medakom Sdn Bhd. We build skills pathways, connect industry opportunities and help shape future-ready talent, working with universities, colleges, TVET institutions, training providers and employers across Malaysia, Australia and the wider Asian region, including our partnership with Signet Institute.
The education agency sector has a reputation problem, and it is not entirely undeserved. Students are sold guarantees nobody can honour, quoted fees that quietly grow, and pushed toward whichever institution pays the highest commission. We decided to run the opposite way: publish our compliance code, document every fee in writing, and screen students properly even when it costs us an application.
That approach is slower. It also means institutions trust our referrals, and students arrive prepared for the program they actually enrolled in.

Leadership
Message from the Group CEO
With over three decades of experience in workforce management, industrial operations and organisational development, I have learned one constant: sustainable growth begins with people. At AM EDU Resources, this principle guides how we build pathways, strengthen partnerships and support students, institutions and industry.
Our focus is not volume; it is suitability, structure and long-term value. We operate with a governance-driven approach that emphasises integrity, accountability, compliance and professional standards. Every student is screened properly, every placement is structured, and every engagement is aligned with institutional requirements and industry expectations.
AM EDU Resources is committed to developing responsible pathways that connect education, skills and workforce opportunities. Through our collaboration with universities, colleges, TVET institutions, training providers and employers, including our partnership with Signet Institute, we aim to create meaningful, future-ready outcomes for learners and organisations across Malaysia, Australia and the wider region.
Our mission is clear: build pathways that are honest, structured and sustainable, and ensure every stakeholder benefits from a process that is transparent, compliant and professionally managed.
Mr. Aidil Chong (Andrew Chong)
Group Chief Executive Officer, AM EDU Resources

Why work with us
Four things that make us different
01
Genuine assessment, not volume recruitment
We conduct thorough preliminary screening to check that applicants meet both the academic criteria and the genuine study intent requirements for their destination. If you don’t, we say so early — before you’ve paid application fees on a program that will reject you.
02
Every fee in writing, before you commit
All consultancy fees, service charges and institutional commission arrangements are documented in writing and recorded in our official accounts. There are no unofficial payments, facilitation fees or “processing” surcharges at any stage.
03
Duty of care that continues after arrival
Pre-departure orientation, transparent accommodation guidance, arrival support and a confidential channel for welfare or workplace concerns. Our responsibility doesn’t end when the visa is granted.
04
A published code, acknowledged annually
Our Corporate Compliance & Business Ethics Code is public, and every director, employee, sub-agent and representative must read and acknowledge it every year. Breaches lead to disciplinary proceedings, up to termination and legal referral.
